Gravesen Aims To See Out Contract
2008-07-27 16:42:00

Thomas Gravesen intends to see out his final year at Celtic, despite being told by manager Gordon Strachan that he will never play for Celtic again.

The Danish midfielder is reportedly happy to sit on the sidelines where he will still be earning GBP 40,000 a week, and he is set pick up a GBP 1 million loyalty bonus when his contract expires.

His agent John Sivebaek said: "Thomas has a contract and he intends to see it out, that was always his intention. There have been no requests from any other clubs and he is happy at Celtic.

"Of course, he would love to be playing, but that's the manager's decision. At this stage, it seems like he won't get another chance. The unfortunate thing is that Thomas is a very good player."
