French giants Lyon have signed Argentinian striker Lisandro Lopez in a club-record £20.6million deal from Portuguese outfit Porto.
Lopez, who scored 10 league goals for the Dragons in their march to the Portuguese title and fired in six more in the Champions League, comes in following the sale of Lyon's star striker Karim Benzema to Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old has signed a five-year contract with OL after joining Porto in 2005 from Argentinian side Racing Club.
A statement on Lyon's official website said: "Olympique Lyonnais can confirm the signing of Argentina international Lisandro Lopez for an amount of 24 million euros in favour of FC Porto, plus an additional 4 million euros linked to results.
"Lisandro Lopez today signed a professional contract for five years with OL after passing a routine medical.''
