The Gunners saw their title dreams badly dented last time out when they were out-muscled by an imposing Chelsea outfit, with Didier Drogba scoring twice in a 3-0 success.

Stoke made headlines last season when they secured a 2-1 triumph over Arsene Wenger's men at the Britannia Stadium, with the French boss vocal in his condemnation of their approach after the match.

Jamaican striker Fuller, who scored in their Potteries meeting last November and the 4-1 defeat in north London, has admitted Tony Pulis' men will be sticking to their usual game-plan in a bid to upset the home side's fluent football.

He told the Daily Mail: "Arsenal are known for silky touches and trying to walk the ball in to the back of the net.

"But it's also proven that, when you play physical against them, you often win. Chelsea always do it and they always beat them.

"Last year, at home, we did it and we won. It's the only way we know how to play and it's certainly a good weapon to use against Arsenal."

Fuller has had to overcome two major injuries in his career - a back problem as a youngster before a serious knee injury while with Preston in 2003.

The powerful forward has admitted his setbacks have made him appreciate his career even more and that he does not welcome any perceived lack of commitment from his team-mates.

"I take it seriously," he admitted. "If I think somebody is messing about in training then I will get on to them and my bad moods come out. But every striker is moody.

"I need confidence. Without confidence. I am nothing. Football is everything to me. I have had proper injuries, really big ones. I almost had this taken away from me before it even started.

"So for me to be here now is amazing and unbelievable. I just don't want to let go."

Fuller revealed how Liverpool were monitoring his progress before his knee problem six years ago and feels the injury may have robbed him of the chance to play for the Anfield outfit.

He said: "Whenever I was on the way up, something like that would happen.

"Liverpool were watching me then and maybe I would have gone. But then I got injured and that was another chance disappeared. I was out for seven-and-a-half months in all."
