Blackburn manager Paul Ince has reiterated his hope that David Bentley will choose to remain at Ewood Park for next season.
A number of big teams are reportedly interested in signing the England international, but Ince - like Mark Hughes before him - is hopeful that Bentley will stay on.
Ince said: "We are obviously going to have to deal with a lot of speculation.
"But as far as I'm concerned, I want David here next season and I'm looking forward to seeing him on 7th July for pre-season training."
Among the teams said to be interested in signing the midfield ace, are Liverpool, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur. Bentley himself has declared his desire to play Champions League football.
