Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka is savouring the prospect of Real Madrid and Brazil star Robinho joining him at Chelsea next season.
The Frenchman is eager for the Blues to land their top summer target, who is due to have contract talks with Madrid sporting director in London this weekend when the Spanish Champions partake in Arsenal's Emirates Cup.
"He can play everywhere, he's a very good player," said Anelka. "He can score, he can give some assists. He's always good for a player like me - a striker - and for Chelsea."
Robinho would prefer to remain with his Spanish side but Chelsea are wiling to offer him GBP 6 million a year, a wage that could lure the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Anelka has blamed his tally of only two goals last season on former boss Avram Grant's insistence on playing him out of position.
He added: "It's just good for me to play up front because last season I didn't. I played in midfield, on the right or the left. I have never played on the right or the left since I have come to England.
"When you come to a new club you want to play in your position and you want success."
