As always, we will point out Americans Abroads potentially involved in foreign matches and drop the pertinent U.S. television info. All times are listed in ET.
#5 - Olympiakos Piraeus v Panathinaikos
SUN 12:00 PM
It's the first derby duel of the season between Greece's biggest clubs, extending a series that dates back to 1908. True to standard form, the clash is also "a topper" (as my Dutch friends like to say). Defending champs Olympiakos trail their visiting arch rivals by two points, so a win gives them the penthouse key. The home side will probably go again without flank ace Vassilis Torosidis, while Pana are unsure whether Giorgios Karagounis can kick his case of "swine flu" in time. The Greens have scored just one goal in the last five meetings - but only suffered one defeat in the span.
#4 - Everton v Liverpool
SUN 8:30 AM on Setanta USA
Boy, I'll tell ya; about the last thing Rafa Benitez needed right now was an away Merseyside derby - but that's what he's got. The Reds have actually taken six of the last eight league contests at Goodison. Everton, who are also struggling at the moment, have seen their injured list grow to include Leon Osman and Jack Rodwell, but Steven Pienaar could prove fit. Liverpool, of course, are sweating the fitness of Fernando Torres. These are a pair of hobbling clubs, so the battles should be even more fierce than usual.
#3 - Toluca v San Luis (Michael Orozco)
SUN 1:00 PM on Telemundo
The regular season kings will need to re-ignite the second best attack in Mexico this season after being shut out for the first time in 14 league games at San Luis. El Equipo del Milagro (The Miracle Team) will try to live up to that moniker by notching their fifth home clean sheet in the series from the last six. American defender Michael Orozco was a late sub for the underdogs last time, but may start in the decider.
#2 - Arsenal v Chelsea
SUN 11:00 AM on FSC
The Gunners play crosstown derby hosts to tabletop Chelsea hoping to tighten the top of the table. The Blues have already won twice at the Emirates in 2009, and have only lost on one of the last seven visits. Arsene Wenger's injury woes have increased, with Robin van Persie still the top missng name. Meanwhile, their weekend guests are hoping to return Deco and Frank Lampard to midfield.
#1 - Barcelona v Real Madrid
SUN 1:00 PM on GolTV/ESPN360
Perhaps the most anticipated first meeting of the Euro-season goes down at Camp Nou this weekend, with Barcelona stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lionel Messi in heavy doubt. Real, on the other hand, now have Cristiano Ronaldo back and a two-point table lead. What's more, the Galacticos have only dropped one of the last four in Catalonia - last season's 2-0 December defeat. As always, this one will get wild.
