Black cats star eyes winning run
2008-11-20 13:56:00

The Black Cats came from a goal down at the break to clinch a 2-1 victory that moved them out of the bottom three and up to 11th.

Roy Keane's side now face back-to-back home games against West Ham and Bolton and midfielder Reid believes they can build on their league position.

"There is nothing easy in the Premier League and they're going to be tough games for us. But we hope that the second-half performance at Blackburn will kick start us," he told the Sunderland Echo.

"We've not put together a consistent run this season. We have had some difficult games, but we feel that when we play to our potential, we can be a match for most teams in the league.

"The important thing was to get that win and not allow a gap to open. Now we want a run of wins to put us in a healthier position."
