Luka Modric has revealed he is happy to have Harry Redknapp as manager of Tottenham.

Redknapp joined Spurs from Portsmouth on 26 October 2008 to replace the sacked Juande Ramos and immediately made a positive impact on the squad.

"We are all delighted with the results since the arrival of our new coach Harry Redknapp, he is a great coach and certainly our revival is down to Harry," he said.

"In comparison to Juande Ramos, he talks to the players and can motivate us.

"Then we have gone on and got results which have filled us with confidence.

"The points difference is small amongst the clubs at the bottom end so another series of results like we have just had and we can finally move away from the dangerous zone."
