Manchester City striker Elano insists he will fight for a starting position at the club.
The Brazil star was recently linked with a loan to QPR after he had a public fall out with city boss Mark Hughes.
The dispute arose after the former Shakhtar Donetsk and Santos man was dropped to the bench for the last three games, following the 2-0 defeat to Bolton.
But the 27-year-old now insists he has cleared the air with Hughes and is committed to his future at the club.
"I have spoken with the manager and I do not want any trouble with him," he said on the Sky Sports website.
"He knows what my qualities are and I now just want to help the team," he added.
