Hull striker Caleb Folan admits that Saturday's opening day win over Fulham gave the Tigers a dream start to life in the Premier League, but insists nobody at the club will be getting carried with the result.
Folan came off the bench to net the winning goal nine minutes form the final whistle on what was an historic week for the club, who are playing their first-ever season in England's top-flight league.
"I would definitely describe it as a dream start because we couldn't have asked for anything better than a win," said Folan.
"It was important for us to get three points at home and it was important for me to get a goal as well.
"But there were plenty of positives to take and hopefully we can take those into the games to come.
"We're not getting carried away and we know that there is a lot of hard work to be done.
"Obviously we're pleased to get three points from our first ever home game in the Premier League, but there are a lot of hard games to come.
"There's plenty of experienced players in the squad like Ian Ashbee, Dean Windass and Nick Barmby. They'll help to make sure everybody stays level-headed."
