AC Milan superstar Kaka is eager to see David Beckham join the Rossoneri on a permanent basis.
Beckham, who is currently on-loan at the San Siro, is set to return to LA Galaxy on Match 9 after the Italian giants failed to complete a deal with the MLS club.
The former Manchester United player is still hopeful a deal can be completed and Kaka has strongly urged Milan to retain the England international's services.
And while Kaka admits the initial move for Beckham may have been motivating by marketing reasons, the Brazilian believes the midfielder has won over everyone at Milan.
"Maybe it was a marketing move at first," Kaka said. "But today the truth is that he is fundamental. He is a player that in the last games was very decisive, with passes and goals."
"I wish Milan can reach a deal to acquire him permanently because he is a player who can help us now and in the next seasons."
