Hull City have shown an interest in Celtic full-back Lee Naylor as they prepare for life in the Premier League, according to media reports.
The 28-year-old has been a crucial part of Gordon Strachan's squad since 2006, but Naylor is aware his international chances are at risk with him playing outside of the Premier League.
Hull manager Phil Brown is keen on acquiring the services of such an experienced player to ensure his club's survival in the top-flight, with a fee of about GBP 2 million being reported for the transaction.
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp was previously linked with a move for the player, but revealed he is not keen this time around.
He said: "I saw the talk about Naylor, but he's not one I'm really pushing for at the moment.
"He's a decent player and I've looked at him before. But I think that is more his agent putting that one around than anything."
