Sunderland chairman, Niall Quinn, has backed Roy Keane to turn their season around and insists the Irishman's job is secure for now.
Earlier this week Keane admitted that the pressure was mounting following a string of poor results in recent weeks, which has seen the Black Cats slip into the relegation zone.
According to the Sky Sports website, some bookmakers suspended betting on Keane being the next Premiership manager to be out of a job, in the wake of rumours surrounding the Irishman's future.
Quinn maintains that the club will not be making any drastic decisions just yet.
"We'll take the knockbacks and will look to respond with determination.
"Everyone here is fully committed to what we are trying to achieve and despite some of the wind being knocked out of our sails lately, we can see a lot of positives," he said.
