PREMIER LEAGUE
SATURDAY 15 November
BLACKBURN v SUNDERLAND
Blackburn and Sunderland clash for the second time in four days after Rovers knocked the Black Cats out of the Carling Cup in midweek.
In the league however, Rovers have not picked up a win in their last six fixtures and are lying in 15th place. Newcastle and Tottenham's mini-revivals have seen Sunderland drop to second last on the table, just above West Brom.
Rovers boss Paul Ince is likely to welcome Morten Gamst Pedersen and Roque Santa Cruz back into the starting XI with Benni McCarthy given some time off after the death of his father this week.
Keith Andrews is a doubt with a knee injury, while Vince Grella will definitely be out with his hamstring problem.
Roy Keane meanwhile is set to start with striker Kenwyne Jones after the Trinidad and Tobago international came through the match in midweek following his knee surgery. There are however still doubts over the fitness of defender George McCartney and goalkeeper Craig Gordon. Martin Fulop is on hand to continue in goal, while Martyn Waghorn is missing with an ankle injury.
