Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone is keen to continue his improving form for Spurs as he looks to push for a senior England call-up.
The England Under-21 international has worked hard to improve his fitness since manager Juande Ramos took over at White Hart Lane.
His efforts have paid dividends, with his form steadily improving over the course of the season.
But Huddlestone is aware that he must continue to focus on performing for Spurs if he is to catch the eye of England boss Fabio Capello.
"My ambitions are to be playing regularly next season, especially when the big games come around, and to be pushing for the England squad," he told the Daily Mail.
"I've got to be regularly in the Spurs team before I think about England and I have to keep progressing the way I have since Christmas, when I've only missed three or four games through selection.
"The new manager has us playing a certain way. He wants us to attack regardless of the opposition and, apart from the two centre-backs, everyone can express themselves and get forward. We are keeping the ball better as a team and personally I'm attacking better.
"If I can start the new season like that then hopefully I'll play more often than not at Spurs."
Huddlestone also admits that he and his Spurs team-mates are fighting for their futures, with Ramos expected to make signings in the summer.
"Everyone is expecting at least a few new players to be brought in. The manager will have his own ideas," he continued.
"He had the January transfer window and he has a long time over the summer. So we've all got to impress towards the end of the season."
