The Eintracht Frankfurt’s 2015/16 home jersey uses a new design from the team’s technical sponsor, Nike, that will make a bold statement on the field this season.
The popular club will depart from their usual red and black vertical striped home jersey for the 2015/16 season. Die Adler (The Eagles) have instead opted for a primary shirt that is mainly black with four evenly spaced pinstripes. Red is also used for the kit’s sleeve cuffs, on the back of its modern rounded collar and for its side striping.
Nike says that the design of the Eintracht Frankfurt’s forward-thinking while taking inspiration from the kits worn by the club during their cup-winning halcyon years of the 1970s.

The current club team of USA international Timmy Chandler, Eintracht Frankfurt finished last season in ninth position in the Bundesliga. Their only league title came in 1959. They made the final of the European Cup (now the UEFA Champions League) a year later but fell 7-3 to a Real Madrid side featuring the legendary Alfredo Di Stéfano and Ferenc Puskás.
