EA Sports FIFA franchise is the bestselling soccer video game and hopes to build on that success with the release of FIFA 17. The new edition will include 4 new innovations to make it a must have upgrade for players.
The inclusion of 4 real life Premier League managers – Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Arsene Wenger, and Jurgen Klopp, and the distractions due to their sideline antics will give players a reason to select Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool for their first matches on the new edition.
But it is the story mode that has that could determine whether this edition is a winner or loser. The story mode called ‘The Journey’ follows an aspiring player named Alex Hunter. In the teaser Hunter players for the Red Devils but players can select to have this youngster on any Premier League team.
FIFA 17 also includes new attacking options like Pushback Tech to help trapping, dribbling and defending for realistic individual battles on the field, 360° Shield Dribble to hold possession to find the lethal run, and more control over set pieces from free kicks to penalty kicks and throw-ins, as well as the addition of EA Sports Frostbite games engine for better graphics.
EA Sports posted a $1.16 billion profit from the last financial year with FIFA 16 a prime reason for the 32% increase year over year.
FIFA 17 is scheduled for release in September.
