Marco Reus is one of the most inspiring talents for Borussia Dortmund and the German national team. The midfielder is currently on the sidelines with an injury but Puma today unveiled a pair of limited edition evoSpeed 1.3 cleats spreading his message of hope this holiday season.
The 2-color tricks cleats are yellow and black in tribute of his club team, Dortmund. The black outstep of the cleats feature the Puma logo in yellow and a subtle ‘MR’ while the yellow instep spreads the message showing an adult hand holding and child’s hand. The hands are formed by words such as ‘Hope’ and ‘Believe’ as well as phrases like ‘Hope is a waking dream’ written in both English and German.
Reus explained the meaning behind the message saying that ‘hope’ is so important as it has a huge impact on people, especially children, around the world. He stands behind his message as proceeds from the sale of these cleats go to Reus’ charity of choice, supporting patients with leukemia and cancerous tumors at the Children’s Hospital of Dortmund.
This is the 2nd limited edition Tricks cleats from Puma. The German based brand released the Puma’s Special Edition Balotelli evoPower 1 MB45 FG in November.
