D.C. United has struggled lately but remain one of Major League Soccer’s most beloved teams. The capital city side has won MLS Cup and the Supporters’ Shield 4 times each, the U.S. Open Cup 3 times and are the only MLS side to win an international event with titles in the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup and the Copa Interamericana.
In hoping for a fresh start in 2014, the Black-and-Red have unveiled their new primary and secondary soccer jerseys for the coming campaign. This beats the competition to the punch with most MLS sides releasing their new gear for 2014 the first week of March.
The two jerseys complement each other with the home black jersey a simple all black jersey with team badge and v-neck crew collar and red detailing around the sleeve cuff.
The secondary jersey is in white with the team badge and a fold down collar and more red at the on the sides of the sleeves.
