The Pride of South London, Crystal Palace, revealed their latest jerseys for the 2016/17 season. The Premier League club has once again confided in Macron to supply the Eagles’ latest looks for the season ahead.
Palace’s home jersey has the club’s standard colors of blue and red with yellow details. A blue v-neck collar can be seen at the neck of the jersey. In a departure from Palace’s usual striped jerseys, a single thick blue center stripe takes up the shirt, with red taking up the sides and sleeves. Macron’s wordmark on the chest as well as the “Macron men” on the shoulders are in yellow. Completing the look are blue shorts with red stripes on each side. The socks share the look as well, as red vertical stripes can be seen on the inside and outside leg, stopping at the top.
The away combines two classic standard Crystal Palace jerseys both used since the 1970s – the red and blue diagonal sash, and yellow, a commonly used clash color. The crew neck collar on this away jersey is halved red and blue, with the sleeve cuffs also in a similar pattern. The shorts and socks on the full body kit is yellow, with a horizontal band on the socks that features red on the front and blue in the back. Mansion returns for a second season as the club’s shirt sponsor.
The Macron 2016/17 Crystal Palace Home and Away jerseys will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
