An updated take on a great identity is the order of the day for Croatia for EURO 2016. Croatia is gearing up for the European Championship in France with style from Nike. Stars like Mario Mandzukic, Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric will headline a lethal attacking side in these kits. The Croatians, who have one of the most pronounced visual looks in the world of soccer receives a set that will garner attention.

The home jersey, in the iconic white and red checkerboard design, also has blue as the tertiary trim color. The jersey’s collar is a rounded style, with red and blue striped trim on the sides. The updated checkerboard design, inspired by the 1998 World Cup jersey also hosted by France, gives a sense of motion to the pattern. On the chest, the Nike swoosh is blue with golden outline across from an updated Croatian Football Federation crest at the heart of the shirt. Blue trim streaks on the sides, from the sleeves of the shirt through the hem onto the shorts.

The shorts are white, with unique socks using a white and red checkerboard design with red topstripe and blue swooshes, completing the kit.

The away jersey features two tones of blue with white details. The same checkerboard design present from the home jersey now comes in a tonal appearance, with a darker shade of blue having the swirled checkers, making for a very nice look. The swoosh and number on the chest are white, with the lighter blue serving as side piping.

The complete away kit has blue shorts and socks, with the socks having a striped red panel at the back. White Nike swooshes are on both.

The Nike Croatia EURO 2016 Home and Away jerseys will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
