Los Ticos and New Balance have pulled off all the stops to give the Costa Rican Men’s National Team two new limited edition jerseys for the Copa América Centenario. Costa Rica makes their first appearance in a Copa América since 2011 and have gone for the golden touch befitting for the occasion.
The home jersey is red with white, blue and gold details. A white collar at the top features a white v-neck inset.
White cuffs at the sleeves have thin blue and red trim.
Replacing the Costa Rican national team crest on the chest is a shield-shaped sublimated Costa Rica emblem with the national flag’s design within the shield and gold outline. A gold New Balance logo appears on the right chest.
The jersey features faint pinhoops, and on the right side features “La Sele” (The Selection) woven into the fabric.
The back of the jersey has a white Costa Rica wordmark under the collar, with gold lettering for names and numbers.
Costa Rica’s white clash kit appears in the same template with the same features. However, the collar and cuffs are red with white and blue trim. The gold numbers and lettering and special emblem are present on the away.
The 2016 limited edition Costa Rica home and away jerseys will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
