San Lorenzo marksman Gonzalo Bergessio says the squad will not even entertain the thought of falling out of the Copa Libertadores after their home leg against Caracas on Wednesday.

With no less than a win required, the striker has his gaze clearly fixed on the knockout phase.

"We have to remain calm and not let ourselves be influenced by the anxiety of the supporters, nor make ourselves crazy if things we try don't come off," said Bergessio. "Another thing that is key for us is not to become disorganised when searching for a goal, because that could have serious consequences."

"To be eliminated would be a massive blow; since I arrived here, the people have shown their obsession with winning the Libertadores - not qualifying does not even enter our thoughts right now."
