Still faced with the task of qualifying for the final round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, Mexico boss Sven Goran Eriksson admitted it was nice to be headed home for the decisive game.
After a pair of road slips against Jamaica and Canada, El Tri supporters and federation members are hovering over the Swede - but he remains confident the road to South Africa ahead will be smooth.
"In Canada, we played much better than we did in Jamaica, and I hope we can play even better in Honduras," said Eriksson after the draw against the Maple Leaf crew.
"Every team in the world plays better at home than outside," he added. "For me, though, it was also disappointing to see that in the game in Jamaica, we lost without really trying to win."
