PSV Eindhoven are to sign Chivas defender Francisco Rodriguez this summer, according to the Mexican club.
The 26-year-old international will join fellow Mexican Carlos Salcido at the Philips Stadion.
Chivas communications director Eugenia Valdez said: "From Holland, the club's vice president, Nestor de la Torre, has informed us that Francisco Rodriguez is a PSV player."
Rodriguez, also known as Maza, could not contain his excitement at the prospect of playing in Europe.
"The news excited me because there is a pre-contract agreement already signed between the two sides," said Rodriguez.
"Thank god it is done. It is a dream come true to me - as a professional, it was one of my goals.
"I know that it is a big challenge and I will be next to my buddy (Salcido)."
Rodriguez had his first experience with the Chivas senior squad in 2002 and has since played more than 140 games.
He earned his first cap in 2004 and later played in the 2006 World Cup.
