Goals raining in the Premier League, players breaking records and stunning strikes. Time for some good old Cleat Spotting:

Sergio Agüero (Manchester City) – Puma evoSPEED SL

Manchester City seemed to be having a bad time against Newcastle. The Citizens ended the first half trailing by one goal, and wondering what could they do to turn things in their favor. The answer is always Sergio Agüero. The Argentinian, sporting his Puma evoSPEED SL Duality Tricks, stormed into the pitch during the second half and scored five goals in 20 minutes to propel City to victory. This was the last time Agüero would wear the Tricks, as he will switch to the Electric Blue colorway released last week.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) – Nike MercurialSuperfly

Cristiano Ronaldo has officially become a Real Madrid legend. He played a vital role in Real Madrid’s road win against Malmö in the UEFA Champions League, taking his total career goals to an astonishing number of 501. Cristiano also reached Raul’s all-time goalscorer record for the Spanish Club in all competitions, and is just matter of time for him to get the record for himself. The Portuguese has been wearing the Lightning Storm Mercurial Superfly cleats for some time, not switching to the Electro Flare version as other Nike stars did.

Luis Suárez (FC Barcelona) – adidas X 15 + Primeknit

Luis Suárez is one of the few players that switched to the brand new Primeknit version of adidas X cleats. The striker is Barcelona’s new spear head after now that Lionel Messi will be out for almost two months due to injury. He was the hero of the night when the Blaugranas played Bayer Leverkusen, scoring the winning goal when a draw seemed to be their destiny.

Alexis Sánchez (Arsenal FC) – Nike Mercurial Superfly

It seems that everything that Alexis Sánchez to find himself was to switch to the Electro Flare colorway for his Mercurial Superfly cleats. The Chilean star has scored 6 goals in three games using them, showing that he feels really comfortable on them. Sánchez came out as the man of the match in Arsenal’s stunning victory over Manchester United, where he lead the Gunners’ rampage in the first 20 minutes of the game, scoring two golazos and destroying United’s defensive line.

Chad Barrett (Seattle Sounders) – adidas Nitrocharge

LA Galaxy had the victory almost secured in their visit to Seattle Sounders, but ‘almost’ is not enough. The Sounders salvaged a point thanks to a heroic strike from Chad Barret, who put Seattle Sounders at level in the 93th minute. The stands went frenzy, and Barrett ran to celebrate with the fans and his teammates. He is part of the group of players that hasn’t switched to the ACE or X silos, choosing to keep his Slime/Black/Zest Nitrocharge cleats.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain) – Nike Mercurial Vapor

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has surpassed Pauleta as Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time top goalscorer with 112 goals since his arrival in 2012. Ibrahimovic netted twice in their hard-earned victory against Olympique Marseille, that put PSG against the ropes during the 90 minutes at the Parc des Princes. PSG sits atop of the Ligue 1 classification with 23 points, with Angers and Caen as their immediate menace with 18 points each.
