Everton crushed Sunderland 6-2 in the Premier League, a win that restores their confidence after a painful defeat at the hands of Arsenal. The Toffees were led by Gerard Deulofeu, who showed some of the magic that made Barcelona put their eyes on him a few years ago. Real Madrid are determined to keep the first position in La Liga, as a mere slip could see them lose the top to Barcelona. Their latest game was against U.D. Thomas Müller has become one of Bayern Munich’s ost influential figures, and he demonstrated that once again in their DFB Cup clash against Wolfsburg. Javier “Chicharito” Hernández is undoubtedly enjoying his time in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen. Things have gotten to the level that the club decided to open a Hispanic Twitter account for the player’s followers. Chicharito had a nice week, scoring three goals in two games: a brace in the DFB Cup and another in their defeat to Wolfsburg. MLS Cup playoffs went underway during the week, and the first leg of the semifinals took place this past weekend. Dax McCarty from New York Red Bulls scored probably the most influential goal form the four games, as they secured a huge away win at DC United. This was the second playoffs goal of his career, and he netted it while using adidas Ace Leather cleats.

Juan Cuadrado (Juventus) – Adidas X 15

Juventus have struggled to show the mighty form they used to have in Serie A, battling with the departure of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tévez. The faced Torino in a new edition of the Turin Derby, and it seemed that they had to make up with a 1-1 draw that would hurt their intentions to climb near the top teams in the table. However, Juan Cuadrado appeared in the last play of the game to score the winning goal and bring madness to the stands at the Juventus Stadium.
