Chile, current Copa America title holders, have joined today’s Nike wave with their new home and away uniforms. They will try to win their second consecutive title this Summer during the U.S. Copa América Centenario, while also competing in the South American World Cup Qualifiers. Their new kits are made with the latest specifications, featuring the Nike Vapor template with Aeroswift technology:

The home jersey honors their main nickname, “La Roja”, by covering the whole fabric in red, adding some blue accents to highlight the collar and sides. For the first time in history Chile will wear red shorts instead of their traditional blue ones, a change made to create a more dangerous look on the pitch. The socks will be blue, while a white alternative is also available.

The away uniform is mainly white to represent the country’s snow-capped Andes mountain range. It has the same overall design from the home kit, but this time combining their three national colors with white as base and red/blue for the details on the v-cut collar, logos and sides. The Chilean badge is featured on the chest, while their nickname is seen on the back of the neck in both shirts.
