Major League Soccer’s Jersey Week continued on Monday with the launch of the latest Chicago Fire away kit. The Fire will be looking to bounce back after a 2014 campaign in which the Windy City club finished ninth in the East. Last season’s revolutionary home kit gives way to this season’s change kit, which is inspired by the city’s flag.

The new jersey will makes its on-field debut against Vancouver on March 14, the Fire’s home-opener.  They will pull on the jersey a total of 14 times during the 34-match regular season.

This new secondary appears in white with navy, red and powder blue details. The v-neck collar has navy with red trim at the top.

The neck stripe on the inner collar comes in the red with white text that symbolizes the Fire’s mantra: Tradition, Honor and Passion.

The back of the shirt has a Chicago city flag-inspired emblem with the club’s full name under the collar.

Adidas’ trademark three stripes on the sleeves are red. The new MLS logos are also on both sleeves, and are in the colors of the club: navy and red with white trim and red outline. The sleeve trim has navy, but is cut off.

The main design of the jersey is based off the city’s flag, with two powder blue stripes across the chest and a thinner red stripe under them. The hem has a thick navy stripe which wraps around the back of the jersey.

The badge has a lenticular effect, with little badges inside the design.

The shorts and socks are also white. The shorts have a thick navy stripe that will wrap around the back under the waistband, with red three-stripe trim. The socks will have red three-stripe trim, with two powder blue stripes and six-pointed stars within the stripes like in the city flag.

The 2015/16 Chicago Fire away kit will be available at WorldSoccerShop.com and other fine retailers.
