Chelsea FC unveiled their 2016/17 third jersey, the last addition to this year’s collection.
The shirt was revealed along with a film which depicts a London taxi driver heavily criticizing the club and its players upon seeing Diego Costa on the street. The Blues work hard on their training and show all their skills, not caring about the opposition’s yelling and criticism.
This video is part of the First Never Follows campaign, a response from players and managers to the gossip and debate from media and fans ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The new jersey features an elegant combination of white and Chelsea blue, with large embossed lions on the sleeves as a symbol of the club’s pride and tradition. The shirt is adorned by a classy blue v-cut neck with white trimming and an inner tape with the club’s name.
A monochromatic blue Chelsea logo is over the heart with the adidas performance logo on the right chest and Yokohama Tyres sponsor logo on the chest. The adidas 3-Stripes are on the sides of the shirt and are continued on the white shorts and socks.
The Chelsea 2016/17 jersey is available at World Soccer Shop.
