As the European transfer window draws to its close for the summer, Hansa Rostock left-sider Heath Pearce is coolly considering four options for his next move - including two clubs in England.
The U.S. international's agent still has a dialogue going with a club from the Bundesliga and Eredivisie each, but is now also talking with one Premiership club and one Championship side eager to earn promotion.
"There's interest from a few different countries, including the UK," Lyle Yorks told Soccer365. "We want to make sure it's the right move."
"We don't want to take just take anything for the sake of moving. This will probably go right down to the wire."
Of course, a transfer to England would require a UK Work Permit, which Pearce could struggle to acquire - the reason any move to The Kingdom may well wait until the winter transfer period.
"Right now, with caps, he's at 66%," said Yorks. "It would be tough for him to get through (on appeal). If it turned into a January move, he could reach the 75% required by then, so there's some options."
