Reading winger Bobby Convey says he likes the team's chances of bouncing straight back up to the Premiership if they can show up every week ready for a scrap.

The American Abroad pointed out that the Royals will need to revert back to their style of three seasons ago in order to earn a return promotion from England's more direct second tier.
"I think we have a great chance of going right back up to the Premiership as long as everyone competes as a team and has the right mental focus," Convey told Soccer365.
"The Championship is much different then the Prem and you needed everyone on the same page pulling in the right direction as most games are not just about passing the ball - it is a battle."
Convey will hope for much more action this season than he got during Reading's two years in the EPL, a span that saw him limited to just 29 league appearances due to recurring knee troubles.
Heading into the final year of his contract, the U.S. international believes that he has put injuries in the past and reports that he is nearing the fitness level he enjoyed during his last unmarred campaign - which ended with Reading's first-ever promotion to the Premiership in 2005/06.
"Coming into this season, I am really excited because I had a whole summer to workout at home and also a full preseason with the team," Convey stated.
"I think my game fitness is very good right now and I hope to continue to improve on my strength through the whole season. I want to get stronger throughout since the season is very long."
Having posted a scoreless draw from their first match of the term, Convey and Reading will open the league home slate with a visit from Plymouth on Saturday afternoon.
