Newly-crowned Scottish champions Celtic have unveiled their new home kit for 2015/16, the latest of the New Balance clubs to do so following Liverpool and Stoke.
Unveiled as part of the #LiveForCeltic campaign, the first ever New Balance Celtic jersey features the iconic white and green hoops.
The jersey has an added modern twist, as the green hoops are framed by thinner hoops.
The integrated V-insert collar is white, with the message ‘A Club like no other’ written on the inside back of the neck. A Celtic cross is on the back of the jersey at the top.
The New Balance logo is in black, alongside the Celtic crest and Magners logo.
Celtic captain Scott Brown said “All the players were excited to hear New Balance would be making next season’s kits and the designs were popular from the moment we saw them. We can’t wait to wear them on the pitch.”
The new jersey includes NB Dry technology, which helps keep the body cool and dry during a game.
Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said “The kit looks and feels modern; yet the traditions that bind this club and its supporters have been completely respected. We are delighted to enter this great new partnership with New Balance and we are confident our new kit will be a winner both on the pitch and with our fans.”
