Legendary Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is set to make his 500th appearance for the Old Lady tomorrow in the Serie A match against Genoa.

Buffon will mark the occasion by wearing some special apparel. PUMA have supplied him with a unique pair of gloves, which feature #Buffon500 on the strap. The captain will also be wearing a one-off armband in the black and white club colors, with 500 in yellow.

Buffon joined Juventus from Parma in 2001 for £32.6m, a fee which is still a record for a goalkeeper. During his time with the Bianconeri he has won multiple trophies, while also amassing 145 caps for the national team, the high point being winning the World Cup in 2006.
Buffon will be hoping for a double celebration tomorrow, as a victory would be his 300th win for Juve.
