South American giants Boca Juniors, recently crowned as Argentinian champions, have revealed their classy 2016 home kit, a return to their iconic bright blue and yellow combination to celebrate La Bombonera, their home ground and scenery for so many glorious nights.
The traditional yellow band is placed a few inches below compared to last year, wrapping itself around the jersey without any interruptions. Their crest, full of stars representing every title they have won, is embroidered on the left chest, while the Nike yellow swoosh is seen on the right.
A special star graphic with the name of the club on it sits on the inner neck, which sports a V-Shaped design. BBVA is painted blue on the front, inside the yellow band, while Citröen is featured on the sleeves and BBVA Francés on the top of the back.
“There is nothing like playing at home, with the fans, the energy, and the Xeneize legend all around you”, says Carlos Tevez, Boca Juniors and Argentina forward “That energy coming from the crowd is what can make all the difference in a game, and it’s what this jersey represents.”
