We were given a treat when FC Bayern stepped out for training after their winter break with both Holger Badstuber and David Alaba rocking brand new, unreleased adidas boots.
Training before Bayern head to the warmer weather in Qatar for a camp, Badstuber was wearing the first Predator Instinct colourway set to be released in 2015. Coming in a no holds barred solar red/blue colour scheme, this colourway is set to be released in the coming weeks. Badstuber was not the only German wearing this new colourway with Max Kruse’s sore ankle giving us an ever better look at what to expect.
Perhaps more excitingly than a new Predator Instinct colourway was what David Alaba was wearing. On his return from injury, the Austrian laced up in the next generation adidas adiZero, also set to be unveiled later this month. We saw Luis Suarez training in a blacked out version of the boot back in October, but this is our first look at the solar red release colourway. We will have to wait till the official release for full details, but the big new feature looks set to be a brand new outsole along with a “snake-skin” like upper. Apart from a great looking colourway, this looks to be the most radical overhaul of the adiZero that we have seen in a while – we can’t wait!
Be sure to check back as we will be keeping our eyes peeled for further sightings of these boots, as well as the other two new colourways that adidas will be releasing come the end of this month.
