Bayern Munich have released their brand new away kit by adidas, inspired by the German streets that give birth to new soccer players everyday. For the first time in the club’s history, the kit was revealed on a Facebook live video.
The shirt features grey and black separated by a diagonal stripe in an intermediate tone. The v-cut collar has black trimming, same as the sleeve cuffs. The iconic adidas three stripes and the inner ‘Mia san Mia’ (we are who we are) neck tag are featured in orange to accentuate color.
A full colored Bayern badge sits proudly over the heartl escorted by white adidas and T-Mobile logos on the front. Four stars above the crest represent their league success, as only teams with twenty or more titles are allowed to use four stars on their badge.
The new kit is completed by black shorts and socks with some grey and orange detailing, and will debut during their preseason friendlies, which include three games on American soil: AC Milan in Chicago (July 27th), Inter Milan in Charlotte (July 30th) and Real Madrid in New Jersey (August 3rd).
Bayern Munich 2016/17 away jersey is available to purchase at World Soccer Shop.
