Atlas Futbol Club, one of the three giants of Guadalajara in Liga MX, braces for the 2016 Apertura season with a fresh take on tradition with PUMA. The Foxes, clad in red and black halved jerseys, unveiled their latest home and away tops at the Estadio Jalisco.
A modern take on the traditional halved home strip features a gradation effect, as red fades to black, with contrasting trim on the shoulders and sleeve cuffs. Light thin white trim on the sides return to create another visual effect on the jersey. An acknowledgement of the club’s 100th anniversary is displayed on the inner collar.
The away takes the red and black halved effect to another level once more. This white jersey has a center stripe clad in the two colors that gets cut off in the middle, to give space for the sponsors. The shoulder stripes extends the design motif, as red stripe with black trim takes the right side and black and red trim the left. Light grey trim on the sides finishes off the shirt.
The sponsors on the jersey are plentiful, with Azteca and new sponsor wibe.com in front, Coca-Cola on the left sleeve, and Corona at the back.
The Atlas FC 2016/17 home and away jerseys will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
