Following the announcement of their new partnership with Under Armour, Aston Villa revealed their 2016/17 home, away and GK kits for the 2016-17 season. This is the first time the Villans kits feature the new club crest presented a few months ago with a greater focus on the iconic yellow lion at the center of it.
The home jersey shows a classy design with claret body and sky blue sleeves and polo collar. The new badge is over the heart, with its new companion – Under Armour logo – on the right; Intuit Quickbooks logo is applied in white to achieve a friendly look that protects the elegant nature of the jersey.
The away jersey is mainly white with a sky blue chest panel and a claret horizontal stripe. The collar has a unique V cut that combines the jersey’s three colors. The AVFC crest has its original colors, blending in with the aforementioned chest panel. Under Armour is featured in white and the frontal sponsor appears in black.
These jerseys, along with the green and yellow goalkeeper kits, were introduced as part of the ‘Fight Like Lions’ campaign, which encourages fans and players to push forward to make a return to the Premier League.
