After a stellar second season back in the top-flight of French football, Monaco will be hoping that this kit will bring them good fortune in their quest for a first Ligue 1 title in 15 years.
Coming in a super sophisticated navy blue, this away kit oozes the glitz and glam commonly associated with the principality of Monaco. The navy blue is complemented by gold detailing on the crest, Nike swoosh, sponsor and trim on the polo neck collar. Though harder to spot, the navy stripes running down the shirt’s flanks give the kit a polished look.
The simplistic design is carried through to the shorts and the socks, with both featuring nothing more than a navy blue base with gold detailing. As with this season’s home kit, which unsurprisingly sticks with the traditional diagonal red and white design, the away kit features the latest in Nike performance technology.
Nike Dri-FIT helps keep players cooler and drier by drawing sweat away from the body, while laser-cut ventilation holes and mesh panels increase air circulation.
Monaco are set to play their first official away game of the season on the 28th of July as they face Young Boys in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Hopefully we’ll see both the debut of this great away kit and major new signing Stephen El Shaarawy.
AS Monaco’s 15/16 Nike away kit will be soon available at WorldSoccerShop.
