Puma introduced a new lightweight but warm anthem jacket for their sponsored teams. Arsenal signed with Puma over the off-season and we take an up-close look at the Arsenal Anthem Jacket (Navy).
It was appropriate that the day we had this in our ‘studio’ it was windy. The jacket is made out of a lightweight nylon. It has the feel of a very light parachute. And on a couple of occasions we thought it was going to be blowing in the wind. But it provided a great shell to keep the wind off so mission accomplished and we got some pictures as well.
The solid blue jacket has a subtle darker blue square grid pattern print over the entire jacket. It is given some pop with red heat applied stripes down the sleeves and even more jump with the yellow full front zipper as well as yellow pocket zippers.
The bright yellow is also used for the Puma Leaping Cat logo as well as the Fly Emirates logo. The sponsor logo is positioned under the Arsenal team badge on the left chest.
The full zip front tucks away inside a collar flap when pulled all the way up. And Puma was having some fun by putting ‘Pull Me’ on the looped zipper pull.
The sleeve cuffs and waist have a narrow elastic band.
The back of the jacket has a small club color swatch at the base of the neck.
It is part of the lifestyle collection and comes with the officially licensed product tag.
The Arsenal Anthem Jacket (Navy) is available at the World Soccer Shop and other fine soccer retailers.
