by Greg Seltzer for Soccer365

No less than a half dozen Americans landed on the scoresheet this weekend, with Aalborg BK striker Marcus Tracy soaring to nod home the 1-0 winner against FC Copenhagen.

The SAS Liga rookie skyed high to nod over a defender near the hour before departing the game on 74 minutes.

Elsewhere in Denmark, Michael Parkhurst successfuly switched to right back for 90 minutes as FC Nordsjælland raided SønderjyskE for a 1-0 victory.

Benny Feilhaber worked all 90 wide left and Jeremiah White bookend-ed him on the right for 78 as Aarhus GF posted a 1-all share at Køge.

In Ireland, Ryan Guy also headed the only goal of the game to clinch St. Pat's survival in the top flight on a 1-0 defeat of Shamrock Rovers.

In nearby England, Fulham attacker Clint Dempsey netted for the third straight league game, cashing in from the spot after he was fouled in the area to earn a 1-1 draw with Wigan.

Also in the Premier League, Tim Howard saved Everton's first win in five, a 2-1 decision at West Ham United, by turning away a late Alessandro Diamanti free kick. Jonathan Spector went the distance at the back for the beaten hosts.

Brad Friedel
had a light say at the office in backstopping Aston Villa to a 5-1 triumph at Bolton, with Brad Guzan on the bench deputizing.

Hull City forward Josmer Altidore worked an active 83 minutes, stepping off before his side punched in near time for a 2-1 win over Stoke City

Marcus Hahnemann
served as back-up Wolverhampton keeper for their 4-1 defeat to visiting Arsenal.

In early round FA Cup action, Mike Grella lit the lamp near time to cap a 2-0 Leeds United victory over Oldham Atheltic.

The American pulled down a swinging cross close to goal, then coolly deposited past the keeper.

Working 81 minutes, Wycombe Wanderers forward Jon-Paul Pittman bagged his sixth goal of the campaign across all competitions in a wild 4-4 FA Cup draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

In the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday right back Frank Simek went 72 minutes, leaving the proceedings

Heading over to Mexico, Tigres left-sider Edgar Castillo scored a dazzler and won a penalty in his side's 4-0 demolition of Atlante.

Also south of the border, Marco Vidal worked 70 minutes of Indios' 1-0 home loss to Jaguares.

José Francisco Torres went the full route as Pachuca slumped to a 3-0 loss at Toluca.

San Luis defender Michael Orozco was an unused sub in their 4-2 victory over Santos Laguna.

Heading back across the pond to Scotland, DaMarcus Beasley came on for the second half of Rangers' 2-1 win over St. Mirren.

Rivals Celtic had to settle for a 3-3 draw at Falkirk, with Dominic Cervi acting as the #2 keeper.

In the Bundesliga, Borussia Moenchengladbach midfielder Michael Bradley worked a solid shift in a 0-0 draw with Stuttgart.

Hannover 96 right back Steve Cherundolo had a trying day in a 2-2 derby draw with Hamburg.

Down one level, Matt Taylor went the opening 70 of a 0-0 draw with first place Arminia Bielefeld.

Keeper David Yelldell returned to the Koblenz line-up, but it was a sub-par day as hosts Paderborn scored the 2-1 win.

1860 Munich striker Kenny Cooper was on for the final 16 of their 1-0 loss at Energie Cottbus.

Luis Robles acted as back-up netminder for second place Kaiserslautern's 3-1 defeat of Oberhausen.

In neighboring France, Carlos Bocanegra and Rennes suffered a 3-2 defeat at Toulouse.

In the Dutch second flight, Charles Kazlauskas and Helmond Sport got well against his old mates FC Oss with a 3-1 home victory.

Finally, in Portugal, Freddy Adu watched on as Belenenses fell to guests Paços Ferreira 3-0.
