Davies: I'm Wiser And Better

After a tough rookie season in Sweden, Hammarby forward Charlie Davies says he has found his Allsvenskan feet by lifting his intensity level on a consistent basis.
The American Abroad didn't score in a league game last season until closing day, when he bagged a hat trick - now a regular starter, the American Abroad is promising more this term.
"I think I have developed in the sense of being professional," Davies told Soccernet. "The hardships I went through have helped me to be a better player and person."
"When I first arrived I was used to starting and being the star," explained the former Boston College strike ace. "I learned a lot about myself because of the hard work I had to put in."
"At first, I thought I should have been starting every game but, when that doesn't go your way, you have to dig down deep and train harder - it did take a while for me to grasp what I needed to bring each and every day."
