Cardiff City loan striker Eddie Johnson says he is rounding into form and hoping to make a contribution to their promotion charge.
The U.S. international started and set up the winner with a flick-on in their weekend victory over Crystal Palace.
"I've had to be patient and wait for my chance," said Johnson. "It is always difficult coming to a different environment."
"I have found it hard adjusting, but I've been working hard on my finishing, touch and technique in training."
"It is starting to get going now and I'm hoping to get a run of games under my belt," he added.
"There are some big strikers here with Michael Chopra and Ross McCormack, so I know I must take every chance that comes my way."
