A new video released by Ajax shows the reaction of its players and manager to their kits for next season. The catch? Little do they know that the kits are horribly designed fakes made by adidas.

Frank de Boer, Siem de Jong, Daley Blind and Jasper Cillessen are all the subjects of the prank and their reactions to what they think they will have to wear for all of next season is nothing short of brilliant. Upon seeing a home kit inspired by Dutch tulips, Cilessen’s first reaction is a flat out “no”, while de Boer maintains a look of bewilderment throughout.

They are put out of their misery soon after as the true home and away kits are revealed, but to be honest it is not all that surprising that they believed it in the first place. We have seen some absolute stinkers come out in the past, as Manchester United’s 91/2 away, England’s goalkeeper kit in ’96, and more recently some of Liverpool’s kits are evidence of.
