AFC Ajax Amsterdam, the most successful club in the history of Dutch football, unveiled their new kits ahead of the 2015-16 season. The thirty-three time Eredivisie champions won four consecutive league titles from 2010-11 to 2013-14, but finished in a distant second place this past season to PSV.

Since the turn of the century, adidas has been the supplier for Ajax’s kits. This season’s jerseys have a big nod to the city the club represents, Amsterdam.

Ajax’ home jersey comes in their world-famous traditional white with red center stripe. The polo collar from last season’s kit makes way for a rounded crew neck collar. Ajax’s crest is in a monochrome red with white detail within the stripe, with three gold stars over the badge. The adidas three-stripes on the sleeves are red.

The main unique feature for this shirt are the sleeve cuffs. They have a reversible feature, and when rolled up, the left sleeve doubles as a captain’s armband. It’s styled in Amsterdam’s city flag, in red and black with three white St. Andrew’s Crosses. The kit comes complete with white shorts with red trim and white socks with red top stripe and white adidas three-stripe trim.

The away kit comes in a flashy Solar Green with white and black details. The crest and adidas logo come in black with white details present on the crest.

The collar comes in a white v-neck style. The sleeves have white three-stripe trim, and the cuffs are reversible. The outside of the cuffs are white, with the reverse side in red and black, styled like the Amsterdam flag. The bottom of the shirt has a red and black striped trim.

The shorts will be in green with a black trim under the waistband at the back, and white adidas stripes on each side. The socks will come in black with a green stripe at the middle, and white details. Dutch cable operator Ziggo will be undergoing their first full season as Ajax’s main sponsor on the shirt. The sponsor is white on the home kit, and black on their secondary.
