adidas put this awesome video on twitter showing how the kit managers deal with new gear, deciding what a player needs, and the relationship with the athletes. The teams included in the video show the LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls, Orlando City, and Sporting Kansas City.
It’s safe to say that the kit men approve of the adidas revolution and spoke highly of the players and how much the level of the athlete has risen according to Mike Flaherty. The boots must be as good as the player and truly fit their own personalities.
adidas have created cleat for the player who brings chaos to sport, the X 15.1, and the players who controls the game, the Ace 15.1.
With adidas being the kit supplier to all MLS sides, the switch comes as no surprise as adidas look to get the X and Ace on more players’ feet.
Omar Gonzalez has been wearing the Ace as He controls the game as a defender, while his teammate, forward Gyasi Zardes, causes chaos for the opposition’s defenders while wearing the X.
A lot more players sported the X and Ace this last weekend all over the globe and you can check some of them out in our cleat spotting this week.
The adidas X and Ace are available at World Soccer Shop
