For the final group stage fixtures in the Champions League this week, adidas have released three special sets of gloves – the Predator Zones Beast collection.
The striking design features the eye of a beast on each glove. Adidas were inspired by a snake, gorilla and lion, with the gloves intended to intimidate the opposing striker.
Each glove is mainly black, with red, green and yellow the accompanying color for each different set in the collection.
The gloves will be worn by three top goalkeepers in the Champions League, although considering the clubs they play for it’s debatable how much work they’ll have to do!
Ballon d’Or finalist Manuel Neuer will be wearing the black and red set as the Group E winners Bayern Munich host Russian outfit CSKA Moscow.
Iker Casillas will be in goal wearing the black and yellow set as defending champions Real Madrid look to make it a perfect six-out-of-six in their home tie with Ludogorets.
Finally, Petr Cech will play in goal for Chelsea wearing the black and green gloves when they host Sporting Lisbon.
