In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Predator boot, adidas have given a remake to the very first version and released the Predator Instinct 94.

With the accompanying tagline ‘An icon from the past, given a new life by the future’, this is the first of three classic Predator re-launches planned for the next two weeks.

The boots have a traditional look as they are mainly black, along with the adidas three stripes in white on each side. There is a dash of orange on the heel and sole.

This is a cleat that revolutionised boots as we know them today; they were the first to have the raised rubber fins on the forefoot, designed to give more spin, control and power.

These fins have been restructured using the adidas SL Rubber, giving the Instinct 94 a lighter and more flexible upper than the original model. The same pattern remains, ensuring the boot retains its visual appeal.

It also utilises the ControlFrame technology that can be found on the current generation of adidas boots. Another piece of new technology integrated into the boot is the HybridTouch upper.
