A new soccer season has already kicked-off, and expectations on Lionel Messi are high following an extraordinary year with FC Barcelona. adidas presented the new Messi15 cleats back in June, specially designed for the Argentinian superstar, with Messi himself being involved in the whole creation process.

The new paint job features White and Blue, inspired by the Albiceleste colors of Argentina. Yellow on the studs is meant to represent the sun that shines bright on the Argentinian flag. The messiTouch material is now mainly white, while the messiFrame cage appears in blue. Messi’s logo sits in black on the heel, opposed to adidas performance logo.

This design keeps the latest technical specifications to suit his ability: messiTouch has an x-ray surface to enhance the grip on the ball and becomes form fitting to the forefoot and messiFrame on the upper provides a locked-in feel to help improve stability and efficiently converts energy to maximum traction. messiPrint and messiGambetrax combine to provide explosive movement thanks to a unique stud configuration.

This new colorway for the adidas Messi15 cleats will be soon available for purchase at World Soccer Shop.
